YTC-inspired Song by Andnowthemoon

The über-talented Andnowthemoon wrote and recorded this beautiful song for me, inspired by "Your True Colors", which seriously brought tears to my eyes.

When I asked her what earned me the honor, she said this:

"I don’t really know why I wrote it either, other than YTC is such a captivating story and you’re a songwriter too, and I felt inspired…"

Well, who am I to question that reason, and wow... I'm still blown away! Such a sweet song, with the lyrics right on the nail, and she sings it beautifully. I just HAD to make a little video for it. Enjoy!!

Your True Colors... sung.

It took me months to find out, that my beloved friend Uhyesplease, beta of Your True Colors, is not only the awesomest bestie ever, but also CAN SING! I mean really sing, as in, crazy good!

Believe it or not, this duet was made with just our PC's and eMail. We've never met in person by now. Magic? Yes! It's Uhyesplease starting with the first verse, then I join her for the chorus, and sing the second verse...

I made this little video to it... maybe in order to celebrate Kiddoward's epic cathartic breakthrough in chapter 17. Sorry if it kinda breaks your hearts, but oh.... swoon!

Like many (or at least some)

of you know... Kiddo a.k.a.

RPattz 2.0 has his origin in

my Real Life.

He's on my train occasionally,

and I'd been shamelessly

swooning over him for

months before the idea for

"Your True Colors"

came to my mind.

Today I finally got my shit

together and took pics

of him with my mobile.

Yay!!!

Ok, they are really crappy

and blurry, because my

darn mobile doesn't take

Plus the train was jolting

No backpack, just angst...

So. I really planned on writing the darn backpack's story for the Black Ballon Contest, but the rules got in my way... no outtakes of existing fics. So that story will be told in another oneshot, or in one of the YTC chapters. But thanks for all your encouragement. It made my day!

Ok. 

Instead decided to try my first canon. It is called "Angel". Check it out if you like. But be prepared to bleed. No fun!
